A single person who plays offence, defense and goal, is his own coach and cheering section as well! Which side stands a better chance of success? The Real Estate business is no different. Most agents are charged with the task of showing homes, listing and marketing properties, arranging appointments, doing paperwork and taking courses. Little or no time is left networking with other Agents, influential individuals and prospective buyers and sellers. This is a classic case of “Jack of all trades, master of none”

How is your team different from others?
Virtually every other team in Victoria operates as a “mini-office”. The agents within these teams handle everything from listing to showing to selling to handling paperwork. Drawbacks include inconsistency, confusion and lack of personal attention as every file is handled by whomever is on duty at the particular time. Such teams appear to be structured to provide more time off and flexibility for the agents, not to provide high service levels to customers.
Tony Joe & Associates employs the concept of Team Specialization, utilizing the skills of each individual resulting in exceptional results for clients.
Who will we be dealing with during our transaction?
If you are a home Seller, Tony is the listing and marketing specialist. He will provide education on market timing and condition, marketing strategy and negotiation tactics. He is the ‘front man’ and represents you in the transaction.
If you are purchasing a home (or Tony has sold your home and you are now buying), Susan is the Buyer Specialist. She will acquaint you with the local inventory, provide pertinent information and negotiate on your behalf. Tony Clemente also works with buyers and is capable of serving sellers as well.
During Conferences or on sabbaticals, Susan and Tony Clemente are qualified and capable to handle Tony’s files and vise versa.
In all cases, Carole works in the background processing documentation, arranging appointments for you and providing support.
Are you available evenings and weekends?
We provide service whenever our clients require it. Generally, weekends are reserved for existing clients although many still prefer to meet with us during the week and often in the daytime allowing clients to keep their weekends open for their families. Whenever you call during business hours, one of our staff will answer your call and not an automated answering service or office switchboard. Our office staff works Saturday as well and most Sundays.
I am a Home Buyer. Will I be expected to find my own properties or do you actively search?
Sadly, many agents resort to automation and expect their clients to let them know if anything looks interesting.
Our team environment enables Susan and Tony Clemente to each preview up to 60 properties per week on behalf of our clients. Although we too utilize automated email notification systems, our goal is to let you know about properties before you see them. This is accomplished through networking with other productive Real Estate Agents and by staying well connected in the industry.
I understand Tony is active at the Real Estate Board and is involved in several charitable and training organizations causing him to be away often. How can he have time for me?
Tony’s involvement in organized Real Estate actually prompted the development of Tony Joe & Associates. He does travel regularly however since these are business trips he is never far from his laptop, email and client management systems and he has mastered the art of negotiating and handling files remotely. Rest assured in his absence your listing will be expertly managed by Carole who handles everything whether Tony is in town or not.
Tony’s travels benefit all clients as well. Many of the unique marketing tools and client service models he utilizes were discovered by observing highly successful agents in other marketplaces.
If we sell and need to buy in another town can you help us?
Absolutely! We have a vast network of Real Estate agents across Canada and the United States. Unlike others, we do not simply refer to a directory to locate names- Tony, Susan and Tony C know everyone they recommend personally having spent time with them at Industry Conferences and Professional Qualification Events.

Buyers: We help home Buyers in all areas of Greater Victoria including Saanich, Oak Bay, Esquimalt, View Royal, Central & North Saanich, Sidney, Langford, Colwood, Metchosin, Highlands, Sooke, plus Malahat, Cobble Hill, Mill Bay and Shawnigan Lake.
Sellers: Our market area for Sellers includes the list above with the exception of Sooke, Malahat, Cobble Hill, Mill Bay and Shawnigan Lake- we can provide excellent referrals for these areas.
